1. Under the Hood (Fluids & Mechanical) 

  • Engine Oil: Level and condition.

  • Coolant: Level, condition, and freeze protection.

  • Brake Fluid: Level and moisture content.

  • Power Steering Fluid: Level and condition.

  • Transmission Fluid: Level and condition (if equipped with a dipstick).

  • Windshield Washer Fluid: Reservoir level.

  • Battery: Terminal condition, cable security, and load test.

  • Belts: Serpentine and accessory belt condition (cracks/fraying).

  • Hoses: Radiator, heater, and vacuum hoses for leaks or soft spots.
